Toyota currently has a special edition. Hot after models like the Camry Nightshade and Venza Nightshade, the automaker has opted to turn its attention to its must-have family minivan, the Sienna.
Toyota announced the 2023 25th anniversary edition of the Sienna on Thursday. As the name suggests, this limited edition variant helps mark 25 years of minivan success. In the US, sales will be limited to 2,525 units, which is quite high.
The Sienna 25 Anniversary Edition is based on the sporty adjacent XSE trim, offering unique bumpers, 20-inch dark-alloy wheels and a sportier suspension. This facility incorporates a number of more elaborate upgrades from the Limited, including auto-dimming mirrors, puddle lights and heated and ventilated leather front seats.
Unique additions to the 25th Anniversary Edition include floor mats, black badging, dark exterior trim, and a special key cover. Toyota also added roof rails, wireless device charging, and a JBL sound system to the mix. Paint colors available from silver to white; In fact, it's just silver and white.
The 2023 25th Anniversary Edition Toyota Sienna becomes a bit fancy.
Owners will be able to choose between front- or all-wheel drive, but basic powertrain elements remain the same as on every other Sienna. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine combines with a hybrid-electric system to produce a combined 2
5 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque, enough to tow 3,500 pounds.
But it's still an economical family car, delivering an EPA-estimated 36 mpg city and highway with front-wheel drive; adding all-wheel drive reduces city economy by just 1 mpg. Toyota hasn't said when the 2023 Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition will go on sale, but it will most likely be in the next few months. Pricing has yet to be announced, but for context, a front-wheel drive 2022 Toyota Sienna XSE will set you back $
,115, including $1,215 in destination fees.
